Reload Offers: Every New Deposit, a New Set of Rules
A reload offer is a deposit bonus for existing accounts. It looks like a small version of the welcome deal, and the comparison is accurate in one important way: each time you opt in, your new deposit joins a fresh wagering requirement. For a player who deposits regularly, that means the account can be almost permanently in “bonus mode”, and the path to a withdrawal never quite clears.
If the operator shows reload campaigns in your Eurogold account, they will carry their own dates, qualifying amounts and conditions. The notes below help you decide when a reload helps and when it only delays your payout.
How a reload usually works
You make a qualifying deposit during the campaign window, opt in or enter a code, and a percentage of the deposit is added as bonus money. Wagering, maximum bet and excluded games then apply just as with any other bonus. Reload campaigns are often shorter and smaller than welcome offers, but the rules attached to them can be just as strict.
Stacked wagering: the part that surprises people
The biggest withdrawal problem with reloads is overlap. If the previous bonus is not finished when the new one starts, three things can happen depending on the terms:
- the new bonus waits in a queue and activates only after the old one is cleared or forfeited;
- both requirements run together and must both be completed before any bonus-linked money is released;
- the new offer is refused while another bonus is active.
In the first two cases your real money can stay locked much longer than you planned. A made-up example: an unfinished requirement of €400 in stakes plus a new one of €600 means €1,000 of qualifying play before the locked money becomes free.
A simple routine for regular depositors
- Check the bonus balance and remaining wagering in your account before each deposit.
- If a requirement is still open, decide whether to finish it, forfeit it or deposit without a new offer.
- Opt in to a reload only when you would play that amount anyway.
- Withdraw real-money winnings while no bonus is active — it is the cleanest moment.
Easy things to miss
Reload terms sometimes exclude specific payment methods, limit the offer to certain days of the week or require a code that changes per campaign. Some reloads count only deposits made after you opt in, so depositing first and claiming later does not work. Cancelling a reload usually removes the bonus and the winnings made with it, while the remaining real-money balance stays yours.
Weekly and monthly reload campaigns
Recurring campaigns create a habit loop: a reminder arrives, you deposit to “not miss” the offer, and wagering begins again. If that pattern feels familiar, it is a good moment to set a deposit limit in your account settings or to switch off promotional messages. The responsible gambling page explains the tools.
