Reel of Ra and the Two Kinds of “Free”
Ancient Egypt is one of the most crowded themes in casino gaming, and Reel of Ra wears it proudly. The cover shows a falcon-headed deity — the sun god Ra as Egyptian art depicts him — in golden armour with an ornate staff, the Eye of Horus on his chest and pyramids glowing in an orange desert dusk. If you have played any game in this genre, the look will feel familiar. What deserves attention is a word that appears in almost every Egyptian slot description and in almost every casino promotion: free.
Free rounds inside the game
Many slots, Egyptian ones especially, have a feature in which a set of rounds is played without taking your stake. These rounds are part of the game you already paid for: their wins are normally added to the same balance your stake came from. Whether Reel of Ra has such a feature, how it starts and whether it can be retriggered is written in its rules screen. We do not describe it here because we cannot source the details.
Free spins from a promotion
Promotional free spins are a different animal. The operator gives you spins on a selected game as part of a bonus, and their winnings commonly land as bonus funds rather than real money. That brings the full set of bonus rules with it:
- a wagering requirement on the winnings before they turn into withdrawable money;
- a time limit for using the spins and for completing the wagering;
- sometimes a maximum amount that can ever be cashed out from those winnings;
- a fixed stake per spin that you cannot change.
If a promotion ever offers spins on Reel of Ra or a similar title, read these four lines in its terms. Our free spins guide goes through them in more detail.
The withdrawal button during wagering
The most common surprise in the cashier is this: you have a nice balance from free-spin winnings, you press withdraw, and the request is refused or the bonus disappears. Many terms either block withdrawals while wagering is running or treat a withdrawal request as giving up the bonus. Before you press the button, open the bonus section of your account and check whether anything is still being wagered. If it is, decide consciously whether to finish the requirement or forfeit the bonus.
When the balance is clear
With no active bonus and a verified account, a win from Reel of Ra is withdrawn like any other: choose a method in the cashier, submit the request and follow its status in the withdrawal guide. The set of methods and the limits depend on the operator and your account — check them in the cashier.
